On the 5th day I'm in Hanoi..

I am feeling very homesick. Very, very homesick.

One of my roommates (who is also my colleague at work) bought a ticket on the sneak and took off for Singapore! Although she has told us before and many kind of persuade her to stay and you know, bear it out for the next 16 days but I guess she could really took it no more.

Me too, considering work's a real bore and the accommodation and stuffs got screwed up on the first day we're here. I'm going to look at the one who organized this in a different way. Maybe use a voodoo next time and step on her face.

Oh NO!!!! My karma dropped already. So evil!! :S

I came back earlier from work today because my friend wanted to get to the agency to buy the tickets and I had this urge to fly with her too. But I'm kind of wary of the consequences so I'm thinking it over. Now I'm using the opportunity to shop and the opportunity to change company as a excuse or reason for me to consider to stay in Hanoi for this attachment.

At 7:20pm in Singapore time, I had this urge to get to the airport to fly back to singapore! If not I'll have to wait for Sunday before I can fly.

My brother and mom is supportive of my decision because they were right against it since the time I mentioned it. I initially told the faci in charge I'm out but she painted such a beautiful picture and it is only after we paid the cheque then she mentioned that she didn't even visited the place once before and gave us lousy hostel which smells like pee. No, i am so sure that it is pee la!

I'll see how it goes before I grab my ticket to fly back to Singapore. But I'm still so homesick. I miss singapore food, mom, my bed my room and everything.. including Georgie. :(

*PS: 80% of the time here I don't have an idea of what I am eating or drinking. But Vietnamese sure love lipton's tea here. They have honey, strawberry and the funny thing is all their tea have no sugar. No wonder the girls have thighs as thick as my arms only. WALAO!!!*

Greatest of all is love :D

Love never fails.

But where there are prophecies, they will cease; Where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the inperfection disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then i shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these 3 remains: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these all is love.

And yes.. this is the part that comes after the love is kind, love is patient verse. I was reading the bible again and found this so true. How often have love be tainted because of tongues wagging, prophecies and knowledge? Maybe you'll think knowledge is in no way related but lets put it this way. How many times have the love been affected because you knew something about this person you loved?

It test the 2 hearts and breaks the hearts sometimes.

When there is faith, there is hope. But when there is hope, there is always love. Because you loved, thats why you hoped and have faith in the one you love.

Bike experience in Vietnam, Hanoi

Today before we knocked off my boss introduced us to these ladies at the QC centre. They were able to converse in english and chinese so it was kinda enjoyable except for the fact that they then offered us a ride on their bike to our hotel nearby.

OMG la. I tell ya, my face went from -.- to 0.0 and then 0.0"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Because my bag is like so big and it wasn't able to buckle up properly with so many stuffs inside and im so scared they might just fall over and and and the traffic here is scary. The constant hornings from the other vehicles didn't help either and i was going MUMMMYYYYYY from the moment the bike starts till I put my feet down.

Now i think everyone knows how kia-si i am. Very very bo bin already!

Will be meeting Raymond (and Naim if he's not cooking) to join us for dinner to this new pizza place I've found on the web. Supposedly near to our hotel but lets see! I'm so craving for pizza right now and woooo.. I'm so looking forward to the shopping/outing on sunday!

And did I just mention monday's a offday too because sunday is the national day over here?

HIPPIEEE!!!!! :D

Hello from Hanoi!

My first entry from Vietnam, Hanoi.

The place is.. *speechless*. It has its good and bad so I guess I still have to give myself the remaining 2 weeks and 6 days to get myself adjusted to the way of life here.

Yesterday

We board on the flight from Sg to Hanoi and it was a very boring one. Its not like the Singapore Airlines (we took Vietnam Airlines) and they didn't have those games or movies for you to watch while you're on the flight and bored to tears.

Instead, they give you newspaper and heritage magazines which helps to make the tear duct flow.

The food serve on board was okay, but I love the fish. They served us this set meal (take your choice of fish or pork) and it contains a bun,  mango pudding with lychee and strawberry sauce, fish rice and one set of sliced ham salad. I have no idea why the mango pudding for me and stephanie looks like campbell soup though. Maybe they boiled it for us. Heh!

After the plane have landed, we checked out and collected our luggage from the luggage claims. Wahliew, the luggage took so long to come out I thought someone else took it and was so nervous about it. We also met our liaision man here, Mr William Chu.

Mr William took the others to the hotel they were supposed to put up at but we poor things would have to put up at the hostel that is provided by our attachment company. Apparently the faci in charge of the booking and everything didn't do things well la.. WTH. Initially book a lousy hotel that've got nothing until relatives of some of the student interns complaint and changed everyone to this hotel that is newly built. Everyone was basically saying how she could do things so last minute without notifying us.

When the 3 of us (me, Zhijun and Ally) got to our hostel. I got a shock out of my life. Serious. I know hostel is supposed to be.. you know. Hostel. But it doesn't include having rooms that have this pee stench nor does it mean having toilet that are poorly equipped in ADDITION of this window gap that is like. bigger than my palm and cannot be closed.

Wash halfway people can catch free show leh! :S (Even Ally as a guy shook his head lor!)

So we girls insisted that we are going to the hotel and in the end we bunked in with the others and added an bed in 2 of the rooms.

and I...

realised I left my USD dollars in Singapore! Oh my fucking god la. Will have to ask mom to deposit into my nets account so that I can withdraw the money or at least use my master card.

I heard the nike shoes costs $10-20 only!!! Samsonite laptop bag that usually cost $100~$200 in Singapore is selling for below SGD$40 over here! WOOTS. This is big bargain I tell ya. And we're planning to buy Levis Jean at a super low rate too.

That is, if I can get my money from mom fast enough. If not I will have to wipe my butt clean and wash the toilet in the current hotel I'm residing for like. Duh?! years. :D

Today

After a eventful night yesterday, it was finally decided that Zhijun, Stefanie and I would share one room. We got woke up by Ally's phone call and the other guys. It's hard not to wake up actually. 3 consecutive calls and the phone is really loud! Or maybe the room is small, thats why. Lol!

Anyway we washed up, had our dinner at the restaraunt (they've had got the traditional fried egg and 2 piece of toast breakfast set) and I love their tea. It's the only tea here that I've drank so far which didn't taste of chemicals (because we had to purify the water in our kettle before we drink it, it tasted like we're drinking swimming pool water.) and its the only tea that is sugary. Another WOOTS for that! :D

Then we decided to change our room to a bigger one for a few dollars more and to quote Stefanie,

"Whoa! Even the toilet looks more styled."

The service attitude here is also better compared to the people in Sg. KNN, singaporeans ask them move abit will give you face but the guys here, they will voluntary help you with it. Not that I gave them tip or anything. Ok, maybe they were hoping but eh. I'll give it to them when I finished shopping. Hah!

Well.. then we got to our company and had this 1 hr company tour through the different departments and I'm now sitting down typing this prolonged entry with Ally sitting behind me prolly watching porn. I have no idea what's he doing actually since I don't have eyes behind me but basically we have nothing to do la.

My job is to walk around the different departments and see what can be improvised on and maybe come up with a solution for it. It is part of the supply chain management thing that I'm learning so its of use. Zhijun's down at the merchandising department surfing internet and Ally might be going to the other company tomorrow to be a teacher  since he is a biomed student and studied all the science modules. There's nothing that is relevant to his course of study in this garment manufacturing company la.

Oh! And did I mention.. Here they manufactures the clothings for Disney, Kmart and the other brands like PUMA?! The clothes really looks nice and cool except that they ain't that expensive as outside.

And they had nicer seafood pasta in here than in Singapore!!! OMG!! At SGD$3.90 only and a rather decent serving size. And real nice cheesecakes! And and.. they drink bland tea here.

It's like pouring water and putting tree barks in. No sugar, no honey no milk. Ewwwwww.

And we drank one day of swimming pool water because we purified the water with these pills. We never touched them again!

We also have this restaraunt in our hotel.. that serves fantastic breakfast. Their bread is like WOOO! so nice la. a little sweet and the gruel (porridge) is nice toooo! :X Can't wait to drop by the cake shop for some cookies later! :D

Shopping is love! :D

People always have something to complain. Never one to satisfy, never one to say yes to contentment. And you know what? I'm just one of them! Yet still so proud of it. Lol!

Anyway, I went to school today and had my favorite mala ban mien. It's heavenly, even though it made me sweat non-stop since I ran before that and the body temperature kept going up with all the chilli.

After that went to class to pass some programs to YX and to disturb the guys, but as you all know.. i got bullied instead la! :(

Then QY and I decided to shop for our clothes (after we stayed at guardian long enough to get a scolding from timothy for making them wait at BK) and woooo~~~

She got her shirt and I got my jacket!! And does everyone know that they're having a sales at IPZ? $3-$15 for all items! :D

I'm so loving it!!!

The Poor Kitty

I've had a horrible dream last night. Like again!?

I dreamt one of my hamster in my dream was out and running in the kitchen of my old place and it was dangerous, since there's the sewage hole not covered and everything. So I was trying to locate it when suddenly I heard a screech from the poor animal.

Then I found it hiding in one of the corner but hey, there's another animal there. There's a cat trying to catch it! So instinctively I took my chance to chase the cat away, out to the main door when it kept coming back.

So many times that I got really frustrated and with one big hit, sent it off from the 8th floor down.

I didn't go out to see the body though. Then, I got my hammie back in the cage as happy as can be.

I am really a sadist in my dream. ARG!

Random Post: Accident, hong gan liao!

We were on the bus back to my house when the accident occurred. The bus stopped at the bus stop for the passengers to alight and to board while the three of us were chatting away non stop, being a nuisance on the bus by listening to the radio on the speakers when suddenly..

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!! BANGGGG!!!!!!" and felt the force on our seats.

We looked around only to see people getting off the bus in a hurry and we too got off the bus with our bags of grocery, afraid of what might have happened.

A yellow cab has just rammed into the back of the bus. The driver, I heard, was drowsy and didnt pay much attention until it was too close and tried to brake the car in a desperate attempt.

It was a good thing he managed to come awake in time because if he hadn't, he might be ramming the car in full force instead whch could be more deadly than just a knock on his head.

Being the very kay-poh person that I am, I managed to snap the first-hand pictures at the scene. :)

Enjoy! :D

Life is good because of mom!

Life is good because ..

  • your mom bought you your favorite snack - breakfast bars although she got the brand wrong because she scouted the whole supermarket but it just couldn't be found.
  • your mom accompany you to walk high walk low, walk left walk right to get you the belt you want, the medications you want and pay for it with no question asked.
  • your mom walked with you in the pharmacy and knowing you're worried about your hair, takes up one of the package and offered to buy and brew it for you while saying words like "you wanna get this? We can brew it with chicken so it wouldn't taste so bad."
  • your mom upon knowing that your friends are coming over, warmly invite and helped in many ways you've always failed to recongize.
  • your mom knowing you had always wanted a camera (after you stubbornly sold off the last camera you had), lend the money to you so you could snap pictures oversea and come back with good memories. - although not without some lecture of the tongue first.
  • your mom cook more fishball tomyam soup because she knows you're hungry and offer it to you the moment you stepped out of the shower room.

I'm so blessed! :D

Stupidity has no cure, just like lazy bums too!

I really can't stand my brother sometimes. I have questioned my mom so many times in the past why why why I am so different from them.

And after typing out 6 paragraphs on how different I am from them, I've decided to delete the paragraphs altogether because I couldn't stop myself from writing the bad things and it just got negative from each paragraph and onwards.

Like how my brother is a stupid nuthead who, with every 3 out of 5 use of the computer will cause it to be infected with a new problem, be it trojans, virus or spywares.

Before I had my laptop, I uses the computer EVERYDAY. He uses it once a week. But all the problems came from his drive and I had absolutely no idea what he could have done to the comp such that he could infects it with a new virus even faster than I do my business in the bathroom.

Of course, with me using the computer everyday.. he pushes the blame onto me. So I got to send it to be fixed, take it back and wait for him to strike it down with new viruses, push the responsibilities back to me again and the cycle repeats. Endlessly.

Now that I'm using my own laptop EVERYDAY, I told him that he can have the computer to him. I don't care for it even though I paid half of it because you know what? The school taught me about time relationship. I'll just treat those investments as errr... depreciations. Yes. That's the word.

So what happened? He couldn't access the internet because he infected it with yet new viruses and causes same old problems that I've got so tired of fixing. In fact the last time I cleared up the computer was just a few days before we moved. So that's like. 2 weeks? Or is it 1. Pretty fast, isn't it?

Now he's always asking to use my lappie saying it's for 'urgent use'. Yeah right, urgent use on msn, friendster and hotmail? I told him to send it for repairs and guess what?

"I'm too busy. Busy drinking, busy smoking, busy sleeping and busy doing shit thing at home when he's not in the army. I'm sure 2 hours aint too much, especially when you're just sending it down and picks it up another day.

It just irks me non-stop that he is not willing to do anything about it when he needs it and make it sound like I'm obliged to do it. Come on people, wake up!

You know how some people who do nothing in class but whines about the grades all day and praise themselves when they got A for crapping?

Are you really so proud of yourselves.. people? And thats the time the word vomit wanna comes on again. I wish that for the next 3 weeks he can finally wakes up to his senses or he can jolly well whines to himself and get my kind lectures when I'm home. I'm so not keen to help someone like this la. WTF.

Pardon me for this unforgiving act/thought. Sigh!

Anyway, the thing that triggered this off today is that he wanna borrow the lappie to do something urgent AGAIN. Like 'URGENT'. So what happened the next moment i took back my lappie is..

  • my clock lagged 2 hours (which caused me to run to the tv at 1am to catch the 11pm show and to my disbelief finally realises that the clock is meddled with)
  • my lappie having a new visitor of the trojan to which I have kindly removed a moment ago.

Can anyone just tell me how can any one.. any pigu even ACCIDENTALLY got infected with a virus in just 5mins?

Stupidity has no cure. Really.

Horrible Dream

I dreamt of the most horrible thing this morning. I can't really remember what I've dreamt but the most significant part that I remembered is the part when I was stroking this really frail hamster (and really cute one) when it suddenly bite me and while I was trying to flick it off and in a instant, I guess... I killed it.

The consequence is the head left on my left hand (with the two front teeth still in my flesh) and its body somewhere else. I got such a scare I woke up immediately and looked at my left hand just to check if it really happened even though I have no pets at home right now.

What a scary sight!

Anyway, I went to the ICA building to update on my picture just now. Such a long Q but still falls within the anticipated time period that I've set aside. In fact I have set aside 3 hrs just in case the Q was exceptionally long (like the last time I applied for my passport donkey years ago) and I reached earlier at TTSH where I got my "ant-like" jab and sent out of the room in less than 3mins after I entered it.

I wish every nurse stab the needle into us as quickly as this nurse did. Still as pain but at least you don't feel the needle being pulled out slowly... tugging at your flesh while your eyes go 0.0 at every single movement made by the one handling it.

I've been feeling so tired these 2 days that I've been falling asleep on the sofa for two days straight for at least 6 hours. My mom now thinks that the sofa is a better bed for me. One day, I think she'd kick me out of my room and make me sleep on the sofa! :)

The 8-Facts Meme

Ms Tortoise aka Shuyun tagged me the 8-fats facts meme!

Here are the rules:
1. Each blogger must post these rules first.
2. Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they've tagged, and to read your blog.

8 facts about me:

1. I can't stand drinking/eating from the same utensil/cup/straw with another person. The thought of sharing saliva irks and disgust me.

2. I have selective STM. My STM is at its best when I am deprived of sleep or feel 'suffocated'.

3. I once got chased by my own dog and ran from the 4th floor (my home) into a stranger's home (on the 10th floor) and even shut the door on them while the wife was outside hanging the laundry. I'll never forget the look on the husband's face when he looked at me as if I'm going to rob him of his home. LOL!

4. I'm kinda geeky in my own way and I'm lovin' it!

5. I have a soft spot for watches though I've never purchased one that I really like. Because I haven't found one that I won't be tired looking at it for 30years - yet.

6. I used to have alot of pets at home. But I don't think I'm ever rearing one again. It's like, they grew up in your care. You thought you could communicate to them and set aside time for them no matter how busy you are but one day they got sick and the condition just doesn't improve no matter what you do.. even bringing it to a vet and you realise that life is not fair. Why does hammie only lives for a average of 2 years, rabbits average of 3 years and my poor boy boy who got some virus and put to sleep because he's suffering though he's so nice and everything.. sigh.

7. I hate talking on the phone. Especially when it is random random random, with no topics in mind. You can msn me about it though! :D

8. I can imagine beautiful things, I can sight them but just can't visualise me in them and being one of them. SIGH!

8 people tagged:

1. Ah yi

2. Iris Wee

3. Candy aka lollipop!

4. Yu Xiang

5. Alicia

6. Kristel

7. Roxanne

8. Sally

9. Ollie (aiye, if you're reading this and not too busy with MHG)

Opps, did I just tagged 9 people instead of 8? Rules are meant to be broken. Hiakhiakhiak! :D

My national day 2007!

Lack of bloggie updates makes a grumpy charps! :(

Uh.. I haven't been updating for 3days now. Seems like I'm really busy huh? It really seems as if time's never enough for me!

Anyway, I spent the national day shopping for electronics. Got myself a Samsung HD-TV, a JVC DVD system for my room, a Sharps Double Grill & Convection oven together with mom's new fridge. Now she can stuff all her ingredients in and me? The sugary stuffs that made me fat! Woooo~~~ :P

I initially wanted a 19" or 20" tv because of the limited space in my room, but upon looking through the models and the specs, 'we' decided that the 27" is better in terms of its specs (HD, the rest weren't), have a free wall bracket and its only $200 apart! So we got it and my dear tv is sitting on my computer table for the time being, till it is mounted onto the wall with the wall bracket. :D

I set up my DVD system too on my computer table (really, i think i will only set up the comp table after Sep) and now I'm sitting n my bed, typing this as I lie against the wall with my pillow as cushion.

Kinda cool and comfortable, really. Heh!

Mom came in a moment ago and said that my DVD system is bad and 'suggested' that i should set it up in her room instead. Immediately I turned on the volume and pretended that I never listened to anything she just said. She gave me a look of disgust (eeeyerr! look) and sat in my room to watch tv till she was chased out.

That cheek of her to even bring in her durian cake to eat in my room!

So my room's kinda set, just need to get the curtains up, tv up on the wall, books back onto the shelve, clothes into the wardrobe and boxes out of my room.

Weets! And I'm so looking forward to buying new bedspread and quilts tomorrow! Let's hope that i can squeeze out enough time before i go for kidsread tomorrow! :D

OUT!

Charps.

It's hard to speak english. Because they can't understand without la leh lors!

This might just be the true self of a cancerian. Hopelessly romantic and dreamy on the inside while being totally cool about it on the outside with people around. I guess everyone has this side of them that is totally unknown to the people around them, even those who hung out with them everyday.

It's the one in our mind, who we wanna be and yes, call it spiritual communication. The type that knows who you are, what you want even before you utter a word.

I know its gonna be pretty random for me to talk about this but hey.. is there anyone who you really thinks know you inside out?

I have no answer for myself. In any case, its not gonna be those people who goes "Oh! Charmaine wouldn't like this/can't like this and she's oblivious to *ahem* certain things."

C'on, I'm still alive is what I really wanna say instead of "Yeah, right" that I've been saying all this while. Call me a hypocrite or a coward for feeling one thing and yet saying the other. But hey, what am i supposed to say?

Honestly.

Today someone asked if i can understand chinese. Of course I can, but I dislike reading in chinese (unless its the tabloid or synopsis) and would very much be excluded in the all-chinese conversation nowadays.

My friends says that with the way I'm speaking, how can i be ang-mohed?

But I'd like to make a point.

It's not because I like speaking in la leh lors. It sucks really sometimes while listening to me speaking such english. But its the culture and there was this period of time I refrained from using these singlish grammars and ended up with lots of "huhs?!" from the people I'm conversing to.

It's not like I'm using words that are specifically chosen out from the dictionary. It's just that people don't understand you if you don't speak the leh la lors here! Especially with your friends.

Pronounciations is a problem, but i think I'm improving as days goes by and im glad of it. I think I will start to refrain from the leh la lors and see how it goes. I certainly don't wish to make it a habit.

This is also the time that I would like to shout at them in the face and say "who do you think you are. How much do you think you know about me?" I know its evil of me so I never did it actually. Heh!

And whooooots! It's time for some book-shopping at kino! :D

Fate, Miracle & Hope

Word has it that our lives are divided into different parts to be govern/taken care of by these higher beings.

  • Fate: Who is in charge of creating the opportunities for you to meet your very very close friend who later decides to give you some heart pain before you'll realize "oh great, now that's love~" and became your sweetheart.
  • Miracle: Who is in charge of giving a second chance to people who needs them desperately. Of course, if miracles is often seen then it is no more a miracle. If you ever sees/met with a miracle, let me know how it feels like ok? So far for me, miracles do work. I guess we all just gonna be sincere and real when we pray for a miracle. :)
  • Hope: Who gives you the strength to move on when you're on the verge of dying, of giving up and when you're thinking of foolish thoughts. Hope gives strength to you and the people around you, allowing you to become the medium to give hope to others. That is, of course, if you willingly accept it and not reject it.

It is heard that fate is very mischievous, miracle always optimistic and hope is gentle by nature.

Mischevious fate likes to place the wrong people together, tricking hope to get to these poor couples and then giving miracle more work to do although I really have no idea if miracle enjoys to be with fate or hope more. -end of story-

I have no idea why I wrote the thing i did just now, but it certainly has some sense to it, no? I thought that was kinda.. well. kinda meaningful and really.. really.. random! :D

Anyway, today's friday and I spent my time in school till 9pm. Had kidsread which was fun though its a smaller class. One of the kid was kinda shy though his brother is the outgoing type and he sort of shys away from everyone. I have to kept talking to him before he starts responding but I guess its good! At least he's smiling and enjoying the session instead of the almost-crying mood when he just entered.

Came home, arranged the boxes and hooray. Tomorrow's work-day (meaning i dont have to be home to do the dirty stuffs again. HEH!) and and and.. im going furniture shopping on sunday!

My handsome boss agreed to it and was so nice about it though i was the one who offered to work one hour earlier. :)

I think I kinda enjoy my room's color with my light-colored furniture (ikea bed frame, white bookshelf) and it looks ok with my oak-colored bookshelf too! I am going to get new bedsheet for myself and hoorayyy!! (for the sake of hooray-ing)

As I said, I will be working for the next 2 days so probably won't be online (my connection also cannot be used now YET) so yeah.. anything just send me a sms. I welcome that very much since I am kinda bored during work. Till then, tata! :DDD

The day we professed our love for LJS

Oh no! What a delayed post this is! *shrudders*

Case number: #xxxx(input your own 4-digit very zai case code.)

Incident dated: 30 July 2007.

Titled: An overview of the day we professed our love for LJS

1st party description

We had a nice evening professing our love for LJS, with the fries and O! what a blast. The chickens. We had our own private party by the window panels, feeling as if we're the megastars of LJS, displaying our very, very gracious table manners.

We had got ourselves tickets to the 7.20pm show for the thai horror, titled "Alone". It's been long since I have caught a horror and both of us were curious about the other 'twin' mentioned in the reviews. Quickly, we fed ourselves and off rushes off to the theatre in order not to miss anything.

3rd party description

The duo reaches the cinema 5mins after the movie has started. The cinema was a pitch black. They couldn't get into their chosen seats, for, the girl sitting by the aisle has not noticed that well.. there are people trying to get in. So the two settled by the seats located at the side, by the aisle.

The movie has started. The lead actress is celebrating her birthday and wow, isn't she pretty. Charmaine has always been biased and sterotyped the thais as plain-looking and now, it has changed her opinion looking at the cast.

1st party description

We're usually the bravest of the lot in our group when its time to catch the horrors. We're always the one with the straight face, legs up manners in the cinema. But hey, guess what? It's clutching the bag and hiding behind the fingers today.

Yes, hiding behind the fingers.

That addy has got the cheek (yes, what a cheek!) to hide her vision with her wonderfully manicured fingers(actually i didnt notice, anyhow hantem) and even more, whispered to me this.

"What's going on?! What happened?"

*clutch addy's bag more tightly*

"Her twin appeared. Her eye.. white. There's no pupil!!!" *trying not to scream out loud*

I was very freaked out, by the sound effects and the visuals (really, eyes with no pupils is so not appealing to me.) but the thought that my companion beside me will be hiding behind her fingers made me or rather, gave me the strength to continue. I would also have to thank the lemon tea and sugar-iced peanuts for calming my nerves.

Addy, being the nice person as always, treated me to black forest cake! The authentic black forest cake with shredded chocolate in the centre, cherry as tip and big juicy blueberries by the sides. She had a chocolate truffle, which look exactly like it should taste - sinful. We then shared a bowl of brocolli cream soup and snapple which brings back memories when I, being the hardworking nerd in class would get to the neighbourhood library and study with a snapple in hand and the sandwich in another.

I am so proud of myself sometimes. Now, don't even try to protest to the previous statement. :)

A 30mins walk back to addy's place where I took a bus home is refreshing indeed. Suddenly I felt alive from all the walking, probably it's because I haven't been exercising enough and it's the first time we've walked this long stretch of road together that its memorable to me.

Perhaps I should start a book with all my first-times and record down the happier things in life. Like how I have written this entry in such a.. what'd you call it, essay styled?

or, a story book version.

Now I just wished I can bring it further by inputting my headings for each chapter so I can clear the 1st party and 3rd party indications which looks kinda odd.

But it's 7.20am in the morning now, exactly 60hours from the time we watched "Alone" and I really should be getting back to my camping bag before the guys arrive and see me in my unglam form again.

*struggling to write off*

*PS: I'll try to upload the pictures as soon as I can. Now that I have found the wires, I can't seems to find my router and guess what? It'll need 4 working days to get the signal activated. !@#$%!*

OUT!

Charps.
